How long do travel nurse assignments usually last?

A typical travel assignment is 13 weeks. However, sometimes shorter assignments are available. It is possible to extend an assignment beyond its original length, usually another 13 weeks which many travelers do.

Whether you travel alone, with your family or your pets, we will find the best options based on the location of your assignment. You will then receive a housing allowance once a month or a tax-savings per diem allowance on each of your paychecks. If you already have housing arrangements at the location you are traveling to, we will provide you with a housing subsidy.
