Client FAQ
There are so many staffing agencies out there. What makes California Medical Staffing different? California Medical Staffing offers staffing services and so much more!
- ON-CALL SERVICE - We provide 24-hour on-call service to all of our clients, nurses and therapists - you can call us anytime day or night and speak directly with a member of our staffing department.
- CHOICE - We offer choices to our therapists, nurses and clients to ensure a happy fit.
- MENTORSHIP - For our new graduates in the therapy arena, we have an excellent mentoring program in which we let them shadow one of our team lead therapists at our expense. After that, they have full-time access to that therapist with any questions, concerns or even just conversation. We want to help make the transition from school to the facility a happy and easy one.
- FAMILY - At California Medical Staffing, we don't just look for new clients, therapists and nurses; we look for new members to add to our family. We're sure you'll find a personal touch with our service that you won't find with another agency.
What type of screening process do you complete before hiring a therapist or nurse? California Medical Staffing ensures that all of our therapists and nurses are ready to work for your facility before we hire them. We will provide to every facility, upon request, the following information:

Does California Medical Staffing offer qualified therapists and nurses in all settings? Yes. If you have needs in acute care, outpatient, pediatrics, home health, or long term care, we've got someone who can help.
How long can I keep a therapist or nurse? Our average traveling assignment is thirteen weeks. We provide our clients quality therapists and nurses for assignments that range from one day, a few weeks, or several months depending on the needs of the location.
How do I obtain a contract so you can start providing therapists and nurses to me? Just give us a call! California Medical Staffing only needs some basic information from you in order to get a contract started for your facility. Our contract does not bind you to use us - it only allows you to use us in a more timely manner if ever the need arises. Please give us a call at 800-701-4837 or e-mail marketing@californiamedicalstaff.com to begin the process!
What does it cost if I sign a contract for services but never utilize one of your therapists or nurses? IT COSTS YOU NOTHING!!! That's right! You can sign a contract, interview 100 therapists or nurses and never pay one cent. You only pay for therapists and nurses that are actually placed in your facility for work. It's a great way to have a safety net set into place just in case the need for staffing arises in your facility.
What are the costs of obtaining a therapist or nurse through your agency? Our costs will depend on the discipline of the therapist or nurse, the skill level and the geographic location where the therapist or nurse will be working. We include a range of rates on each contract in order to ensure the maximum savings for our clients. Other staffing agencies may give you a flat rate; but, we can actually save you money by giving you specific pricing per therapist or nurse based on their education and experience. A flat rate is given with a job confirmation for each therapist and nurse placed at your facility.
How much lead time do you need to meet a request? Try us and you may be surprised! The more advance notice the better, but our staff are experts at meeting needs on very short notice.
